It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

So, I've been planning a huge-ish animation project for a while now, and just found a program that will make my job a lot easier!

It's called Monkeyjam.
And yes, it's good with toast.
Animated toast.

SO! That's what I'll be doing for a while, I'll probably end up uploading several keyframes every week or so for progress or something. XD Who knows. I will... see you later, Lizardlings!

Yes, I could, but, that requires me to have made all of the frames thus far. Animating them as I go seems a lot easier at the moment. XD

Yep. Basically I'm animating a fight scene -to- a song, so, there are a bunch of weird effects and things and then music timing I have to worry about later. XD Should be fun! unfortunately, this may end up looking like crap, because I am by no means a professional animator. Maybe someday. XD
